From early in my life, I've found that I always had a fascination with technology, video games and storytelling. I've spent most of my life living on my family's farm with books and games being a strong part of how I lived as a kid with few people around in a rural environment. When I discovered in highschool I had a passion for programming, I knew that video game development was the career path that I wanted to pursue, one way or another.

My favourite games, and big inspirations in my work, are classic RPGs like the Final Fantasty, Pokemon and Fire Emblem series, as well as TTRPG themes and rule sets from games like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and Call of Cthulu especially. Inpirations like this have always left me more partial to 2D art styles engines like Unity over other apporchs, though I feel it's important to be well rounded as a programmer and have expiermented in many stlyes and engines.

In addition to knowing mulitple languages and having familiarity with different engines, I feel that being well rounded as a developer include at least basic knowlege of most aspects of the process. I've had previous expeirence through my school and side projects in aspects like basic 3D modleing in ___, audio recording and editing using audioacity and an electronic keyboard, and sprite creation and editing in photoshop adjacent programs and paint. Other asspects like group management and build control (through GIthub primarily) are also important facets of the creation process I've gained some personal experience in.
